Dana Point Engagement - Huong + Forrest

I met Huong and Forrest at Dana Point Harbor right before golden hour, which is when this place really shows off.

From the first few minutes it was obvious this session was going to be fun. Huong and Forrest have the kind of chemistry that makes my job easy. Lots of laughing and absolutely zero awkwardness in front of the camera.

By the time the sun was dropping behind the cliff side, we made our way onto the jetty for some beautiful sunset photos.

Sessions like this are exactly why I love shooting engagement photos. It feels less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out while documenting a really exciting time in someone’s life. I’m already looking forward to photographing their wedding and seeing what kind of fun we get into next.
