Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement - Marlene + Steve

The Mission San Juan Capistrano was the perfect backdrop for the first half of Marlene & Steve’s engagement session.

They both dressed to impress and they were absolute fire! For the second half of their shoot, we made our way out to Thomas Riley Wilderness Park for a more nature vibe. More on that later.

In the meantime, here’s some of what we captured at the Mission.

Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement - Courtney + Brandon

Shooting at the Mission San Juan Capistrano never gets old, especially when you're photographing such a fun and loving couple like Courtney & Brandon.

Sometimes it takes a few minutes for a couple to get comfortable in front of the camera, but not these two. They are so unbelievably cute together and they totally make sense! It was hard to pick out my favorites from this session, they really were that awesome!

Here's some of what we captured at the Mission and then at Dana Point to finish off our session at the beach.

San Juan Capistrano Engagement - Yvette + Josh

It was a cloudy day but we didn't let that stop us from having a rad engagement session. We started off Yvette & Josh's photo sesh at the beautiful Mission in San Juan Capistrano. I've shot there countless times and it never gets old, especially when you're shooting awesome couples like these two!

Once we were done at the Mission, we made our way down to Dana Point. It was cold, windy, and we may or may not have been kicked off a jetty by some kind gentlemen in uniform (eek!), but we still captured some awesomeness along the rocky coast.

Here's some of what we got! Cheers!

San Juan Capistrano Mission Engagement - Melissa + Morris

The Mission in San Juan Capistrano is always a pleasure to capture engagement and wedding photos. For Melissa and Morris, it was their engagement session that we captured there. We started off the day with some fun balloons but quickly lost them after the first location (thanks, Morris!). We didn't let that get us down as we explored and roamed around the mission.

We spent about an hour at the Mission before we walked across the street to the Los Rios district just to mix things up a little with an outfit change and a Captain America sighting.

Here's some highlights of their engagement session.
